When to Seek Emergency Care

Please seek immediate help if you are experiencing:

• Thoughts of harming yourself or someone else

• A suicide plan or intent

• Severe panic or emotional distress that feels unmanageable

• Psychosis (hallucinations, paranoia, loss of contact with reality)

• Medication reactions requiring urgent medical attention

• Any situation where safety cannot be maintained

Important Practice Policy
